Finally: Obama’s victory speech

If you’re interested in politics and the US election, chances are you’ve already seen or heard at least parts of this already, but here it is anyway: The main part of the victory speech of Barak Obama after winning the Democratic primary. He is now the official presidential candidate for the Democratic party, and hopefully, he will be the next President of the United States of America (and need I point out that as such, he would be the first black president?).

Listen to it, and compare it to other political speeches. In particular, compare it to any speech George W. Bush has ever held, and let it sink in: This is a pivotal moment in history.

Update: You can find a longer (full) version of the speech, and with much better quality here: Full victory speech of Barak Obama.
It’s worth watching, both to hear what he says, and just to hear how the crowd around him goes wild again and again.
